The Collector-Decorator.
After fifteen years in property, where he learned to read a space and gauge its potential, Laurent Sorbier founded Sorbier-Ségalot Curation to give shape to a lifelong passion for art, design and collecting; an eye formed early in the family workshops of the Faubourg Saint-Antoine, then honed in auction houses across Europe.
His approach is that of a collector guided by curiosity, rigour of line and eclecticism. He moves between periods, materials and cultures, from Modernism and Art Deco to Arts & Crafts and folk art.
He sources internationally: galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, private collections, to compose, project after project, ensembles that escape standardised decor.
